All services at the Hub are connected to substance use health. This includes medical care, social work, housing support, mental health support, and referrals to treatment.

The West Ottawa HART Hub is a free, confidential walk-in clinic in Bells Corners focused on substance use health. We’re here for anyone 16 or older looking for support for their substance use health.

You do not need an appointment or referral
— just walk in when you need us
You are welcome to come in even if you are not sure what kind of help you need with your substance use health. Our team will listen without judgement, answer your questions, and help you explore care options that fit your needs and goals.
Start with a conversation
Our team includes doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, counsellors, social workers, peer support workers, and other care providers. Our team is focused on you. We selected staff who share supportive and non-judgemental values.

The Hub is for people seeking support with substance use health.

If you are looking for general healthcare, housing services, or social services not related to substance use, please call 2-1-1 to be connected to other community resources.

Our services are provided in English and French.
Translation services can also be provided.

Free and confidential services for people receiving substance use support

We are here for anyone 16 and older. If you are younger than 16 and dealing with substance use please contact us to learn about local supports.

Walk-ins

Substance use health care, including primary care and mental health support. The Hub provides services for people receiving substance use support. It is not a general walk-in clinic.

In-patient services

Withdrawal management, stabilization and treatment.

One-to-one support

One-to-one support and referrals to community services for people receiving substance use support.

Peer support

Connects people with trained staff who have lived and living experience with their own substance use health. Peers offer understanding, encouragement, and support while considering and/or navigating substance use health needs.

Walk-ins

Information and support for family and caregivers who have concerns about a loved one age 16 and older. We offer community resources and options related to substance use health. We do not pressure anyone to accept care.

Housing support

Helps people who are receiving substance use support to find and keep safe, stable housing. This includes help with applications, rent supports, and ongoing check-ins to stay housed. You do not need to be experiencing homelessness to receive services.

Social services

Help people receiving substance use support with social services, including identification, and navigating systems.

Referrals

We do not offer

The Hub is not a supervised consumption site. We do not provide needle exchange, safer supply, or harm reduction supplies.

 

Primary care services, including doctors, nurses and nurse practitioners, are only available for people receiving substance use health support through the Hub.

 

We are not an emergency shelter and don’t have emergency beds. Though we can help you find emergency shelter.

This Hub serves people who live in the western Ottawa region that includes:

Arnprior (McNab Braeside)

Beckwith

Carleton Place

Spencerville (Edwardsburgh Cardinal)

Kemptville (North Grenville)

Western Ottawa

As well as people who are unhoused or don’t have a stable address

Everyone is welcome through our doors. Even if you don’t live in these areas.

What to expect

Visit anytime

If you are looking for support with substance use health, you can walk in anytime we are open. No appointment, referral, or phone call is needed. You do not need to tell us your name to learn about our work. You can come on your own or bring someone you trust.

The process

If you choose to receive care through our Hub, we will register you and ask for your Ontario health card if you have one. Your health information is private and only shared with the staff involved in your care.

At your own pace

A member of our team will talk with you about your goals and explain the supports available. It is okay if you are not ready to make decisions right away. A visit can simply be a conversation.

Extended hours

We offer extended hours so you can come before or after work, or after your children are asleep. Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you need a safe place to withdraw, our in-patient services provide respite or a safe place away from everyday life. Our team will work with you to find support that fits your life and goals.

Voluntary and confidential care

Care at the Hub is voluntary. We do not force people to accept care or treatment. Care at the Hub is also confidential. We cannot confirm whether someone is a client, has visited the Hub, or has received treatment without their consent. We only share information when a client gives permission or when required by law.
